Recommendations for use

The distinctive delicacy of Rosemary honey makes it suitable for any use. It goes well with Provolone cheese.

The plant

Rosmarinus Officinalis, belonging to the Lamiaceae family, is an evergreen shrub with violet-blue flowers that reaches heights of 50-300 cm. It grows mainly in low scrublands, on limestone soils from sea level to an altitude of 500 metres.

Flowering is in early spring (January-February) but, as with many early blooms, hives rarely have enough bees to collect enough honey at that time of the season.
