Adi Apicoltura

For five generations we’ve been looking to the future

Genuiness is our guiding objective throughout the supply chain.

Every step is controlled and certified, from breeding to jarring: here, nomadic beekeeping and cold processing are combined to create quality products.

Mission

We have made a promise to nature: to create pure, quality products that respect the Earth.
We select rare plants with care and attention, aware of their unique and invaluable value. We want to play a role in the vital harmony that nourishes us, you and our world, by protecting bees and supporting the biodiversity balance.

Vision

We look to a world in which fields throb with life, free from the insecticides that undermine biodiversity. A world where every spoonful of honey tells a unique story and where industrial monocultures are not central features.
A world where every taste reconnects us with life and where nature is respected and celebrated every day.

Values

Solid roots firmly connected with the past guide us along our path to excellence, in order to launch ourselves into the future.

Responsabilities

We are aware of our responsibility towards the environment and to people. We have always conducted our business ethically, adopting sustainable production practices and raising awareness among the community that follows us.

Respect

We have a deep respect for bees, nature and the community in which we operate. In our work we prioritise the well-being of our hives, preserving ecological balance and promoting biodiversity.

Passion

We began through our interest in bees. Passion for our profession is the beating heart of the company. Our love for beekeeping is reflected in the care we take to create authentic, high-quality products.

Tradition

Tradition, rooted in the history of the Iacovanelli family, is a precious legacy that guides us in maintaining high standards of quality and knowledge, which are passed on from generation to generation.

Our story

1858-1960

Giuseppeantonio Iacovanelli buys some beehives in the town of Villa Santa Maria to produce honey and contribute to the livelihood of his family. Without realising it, he began what we now call a tradition.

1960 – 1980

Giuseppeantonio passes on the art of honey to his son Emilio and his grandson Dario. With the second generation, a commercial period begins and the beehives – placed in fields of French honeysuckle – increase to 100.

1980 – 1997

The number of hives grows year after year, reaching 1,000. The third generation embarks on the path of nomadic beekeeping, periodically moving the hives to the most suitable fields in Italy, with abundant floral resources.

1997 – oggi

With the new millennium, the first organic product line begins, making ADI a pioneer of 100% Italian organic honey. The fourth and fifth generations, led by Piero, Fabio and their offspring, keep the tradition alive by caring for 2,000 hives with the same passion as their ancestors.

Tradition is our home, the values are our compass and love for the craft is the spark that spurs us on to share this wonderful art every day.

We create connections

We are committed to offering experiences that give everyone the opportunity to personally discover the beauty of beekeeping and the allure of our bees.

We share inspirations

From the Earth to the kitchen, via the fields of Italy, exploring the countless nuances of honey and the nature around us. Not just a blog, but a nest of ideas and inspirations!

It takes passion, dedication, sacrifice and intuition, qualities that the Iacovanelli family expresses in its honeys, despite this difficult moment for bees.”
