Bee pollen is obtained from the flower pollen with the addition of salivary enzymes from forager bees.

It is a protein-rich dried vegetable product, varying in colour from yellow to black, which can be taken alone or used to enrich yogurt, fruit juices, milk or water at room temperature.

The recommended daily dose is one teaspoon per day for children (after medical consultation) and one tablespoon for adults.
