ADI Manuka Honey MGO 515+ is a 100% New Zealand honey, naturally rich in Methylglyoxal (MGO 515+), organic compounds that form naturally in the nectar of the Manuka flower and therefore in the honey itself. It has a dense, creamy texture and a bold flavour with woody notes and hints of caramel.
The honey is harvested in the pristine regions of New Zealand and jarred in Italy. Processing temperatures are kept around 30°C to preserve its natural flavour, aroma, and nutritional properties.

Recommendations for use

Enjoy pure, directly from the jar. Spread on whole-grain bread or toast, or use as a natural sweetener in tea, herbal infusions, or warm drinks with lemon and ginger. Delicious raw in yogurt or morning porridge. It is recommended not to heat or cook the honey, to preserve its natural properties.

The plant

The Manuka (Leptospermum scoparium), an evergreen shrub of the Myrtaceae family, grows wild in the unspoiled regions of New Zealand and southeastern Australia, thriving in poor, windswept soils, often in coastal or hilly areas. It can reach 5–7 metres in height, with dense foliage of small, lanceolate, aromatic leaves that release a balsamic, resinous fragrance.

During the Southern Hemisphere spring (November–January), the plant is covered with numerous white or pink blossoms, rich in fragrant nectar from which bees produce the prized Manuka honey. The unpredictable climate and remote collection areas make this production limited and highly valuable — a true expression of New Zealand’s wild and untamed nature.
