Eucalyptus camaldulensis is an evergreen arboreal tree that can grow up to 40 metres in height. Widely found, especially in reclamation zones or coastal areas (as windbreaks) from sea level to an altitude of 200 metres. Eucalyptus comes from Greek and means “well covered”. The reference is clearly not to the tree but to its flowers. The white flowers with feathery clusters, in fact, remain completely hidden by their petals until the time of flowering in the months of June to August.
