Honey is a food that comes from the hard work of bees, engaged to obtaining food for their vital needs. These nice insects suck the nectar of flowers (or the secretions of plants, as in the case of honeydrew), turn it into honey by mixing it with enzymes they produce and allow it to mature in the honeycombs. Beekeepers bring the hives close to the blooms, gather the honey that considerably exceeds bees requirements, place it in pots and propose it to the ultimate consumer. For Adi Apicoltura this work has become an art.
